Clinical Instructor of the Year

Purpose

The PANA Clinical Instructor of the Year award is presented to a clinical instructor that provides instruction to nurse anesthesia students in a Pennsylvania nurse anesthesia program. The award recognizes the instructor’s commitment to the education of nurse anesthesia students to advance the art and science of anesthesia.

 

Award

The recipient of this award will receive a plaque designating such at the PANA Spring Symposium.

 

Eligibility

The nominee must:
   - Be an active clinical instructor in the state of Pennsylvania
   - Actively engaged in the instruction of student nurse anesthetists in the clinical setting

 

Criteria

Nomination submissions should include details on:
   - Specific contributions to the nurse anesthesia program or to the profession 
   - Details on clinical performance 
   - Presentations or educational sessions provided by nominee 
   - Involvement in educational activities pertinent to nurse anesthesia education and professional organizations

NOTE: There is different criteria for each award category. In this section below, include details on the nominee's contribution and how it relates to the specific award criteria. The award selection committee will take special consideration of these details.
All information received will be deemed confidential. The PANA Membership Engagement Committee will review and choose the annual award recipients.
