Performs intra-operative monitoring, remaining continuously present to monitor the patient and provide anesthesia care. Performs appropriate, complete, and timely documentation of the anesthesia record, including post-operative orders. Accompanies patients to PACU, providing appropriate personnel a complete report of specific problems presented by the patient’s condition, the anesthetic agent used, drugs given, reversal agents, and surgical procedures performed. Evaluates patients appropriate for discharge and signs discharge order.
