PANA Lobby Day 2010
	Welcome to the PANA Lobby Day Page
PANA will be conducting a Lobby Day in Harrisburg on Tuesday, January 26th to coincide with the Pennsylvania House Professional Licensure Committee hearing on HB 1866. We will begin the day at 8:30 in the office of The Winter Group to strategize. After a short education session on legislative activities we will head to the Capitol for a day of meetings, the hearing, and a press conference. A representative from the PANA and the Winter Group will be available to assist and guide you through the visits. The PANA will cap off the day with a legislative reception in the Main Rotunda of the Capitol Building at 4:30 that evening. Please consider attending Lobby Day. We are looking for CRNAs from across the state to represent PANA in meetings and at the hearing that day. We are also looking for groups of SRNAs to help support the cause in the Capitol during the day. Please consider attending if only to gain more insight into political activities in Pennsylvania. If you can make it, please email PANA Managing Director Angie Armbrust as soon as possible to let her know that you are attending. We need a concrete idea of how many attendees will be in Harrisburg that day. If you find you can attend, it would be helpful if you notified your Representative of your wish for their support, prior to your visit. Use the PANA legislative contact page to notify them via email. You must first logon using your AANA number. If you do not remember your password, make sure the PANA has your correct email address, and then use the Password help page to have it sent to you. If you can't attend Lobby Day, please make an attempt to contact your Representative either by phone, or using the legislative contact page as noted above.
Schedule of events: 9:00-10:00 Strategy Session at The Winter Group Office (234 N. 3rd St. Harrisburg, PA 17101) 10:30 - 12:00 Legislative Visits with your Representatives! 1:30 Press Conference in the Rotunda 2:00 - 4:00 Legislative Visits with your Representatives and hand out invitations to the reception 4:30 - 6:00 Legislative Reception in the Main Rotunda.
