- The Wyoming Valley Health Care System/University of Scranton School of Nurse Anesthesia celebrated National Nurse Anesthetist Week with the following activities:
- Students donated their time at the St. Vincent DePaul Soup Kitchen located in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
- Senior students organized a setup in the lobby of Wyoming Valley Health Care System (WVHCS) that consisted of intubation simulators, anesthesia equipment, endotracheal tubes, etc. and ran various tapes on a tv/vcr player to educate the public about the role that nurse anesthetist play in their anesthesia process during an operation.
- Students displayed posters in the lobby at WVHCS as well the School lobby to inform the public of the various components of anesthesia.
- In addition, a digital billboard ran during the month of January to honor National Nurse Anesthetist Week.

- Drexel University Students volunteered at St John's Hospice in Philadelphia for Nurse Anesthesia Week:

- PANA Student Liason reports that York College of Pennsylvania/ Wellspan Health Anesthesia Program worked with the Women's & Children's Shelter of York to prepare and serve meals, and held a clothing drive for donations.
